Delivery Driver

Job Summary

As a Delivery Driver for Omnicare Pharmacy, you will deliver prescription orders and product shipments to customers on a predetermined route and schedule in a company‑provided vehicle. Your role ensures timely and accurate delivery while meeting medication needs, regulatory compliance, and maintaining patient confidentiality.

• Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products, and supplies to long‑term care facilities or patients’ homes.
• Load products/materials and unload at destinations.
• Maintain the vehicle and report maintenance issues to management.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Adhere to professional and ethical standards, including HIPAA, to ensure patient confidentiality.
• Use a customer service mindset to manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks, supporting the team’s ability to fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Geographical knowledge of the service area.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
• Current, valid driver’s license for the vehicle’s operation.
• Capability to drive for long periods of time.
• Customer service orientation.

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver.

• Sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day; sit or stand 7–10 hours per day.
• Lift up to 25 pounds.
• Finger dexterity to operate office equipment.
• Visual acuity sufficient for reading fine print; close vision, color vision, and focus adjustment required.
• Auditory ability to hear normal voice sounds.
• Possible extended hours as needed.

Pay Range: $16.00 – $26.21 per hour (base). Compensation is based on experience, education, geography and other factors.
