Bank Nursery Practitioner

Pay: up to £12.80 per hour depending on experience plus accrued holiday pay.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday. Zero hour contract provides flexibility to work different shifts each week depending on nursery needs.

About the nursery: The Old Station Nursery Pershore provides a nurturing home‑from‑home environment in the local town of Pershore. It offers indoor and outdoor learning experiences designed to foster curiosity, discovery and enjoyment.

Required qualifications: A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable.

• Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
• Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
• Support the day‑to‑day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
