Construction Laborer

This company is looking for Construction Laborers to support sitework, excavation, utility, and heavy civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will assist crews with site preparation, material handling, trenching, equipment support, and general labor duties while maintaining a safe and productive job site.

Responsibilities:

• Perform site preparation, cleanup, and general labor tasks
• Assist with excavation, trenching, grading, and back filling operations
• Load, unload, and move construction materials and equipment
• Support heavy equipment operators and skilled trades on active job sites
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Install and maintain temporary job site barriers and safety measures
• Assist with concrete, utility, and roadway construction projects
• Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Previous construction, sitework, or laborer experience preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift 50+ lbs
• Experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Perth Amboy, NJ.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $19.50/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
