About the Position

We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and culturally aware individual to lead our "Mi Hogar" Program
—a Spanish-language, Latino-centered activities program designed for Spanish-speaking residents. This role is vital in promoting emotional well‑being, engagement, and cultural identity through personalized activities and social interaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and lead cultural activities (Mon–Thu)
  • Host events celebrating Latino culture, holidays, music, art, and traditions
  • Provide a welcoming, engaging, and respectful environment for Spanish-speaking residents
  • Collaborate with the Activities Director to coordinate events and optimize resident engagement
  • Maintain program supplies and decorate activity areas to reflect cultural themes
  • Track participation, provide resident feedback, and support ongoing program development
Qualifications
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
  • Prior experience in recreation, activity planning, or elder care (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Latino cultural traditions and values
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Empathetic, patient, and passionate about working with seniors
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
Schedule
  • Monday to Thursday
  • 8 hours per day
  • Part-time position with consistent weekday hours
