Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our team at Spring Creek Healthcare Center, a premier 179-bed nursing home located in Perth Amboy, NJ. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and well‑being of our patients and residents by developing and implementing personalized nutrition plans. • Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans for patients and residents, taking into account their medical needs, dietary restrictions, and cultural preferences
• Conduct nutritional assessments and create treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Provide nutrition education to patients, residents, and families, promoting healthy eating habits and disease prevention
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients and residents
• Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in nutrition and healthcare
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to nutrition and food service

• Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) with a current registration in the National Registry of Dietitians and Nutritionists
• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
