Material Handling Equipment Technician

Overview

You are a self‑starter who can work independently and with cross‑functional teams, troubleshooting equipment problems, performing immediate repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment. You will help ensure the safety of our people and workplace, and keep equipment uptime per the System Level Equipment (SLE).

• Work with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), Microsoft Suite, and Google Suite.
• Identify and troubleshoot material handling equipment that impacts facility product flow.
• Develop positive cross‑functional internal and external relationships focused on delivering targeted results that improve overall occupancy experience, operating efficiency, and site reliability.
• Conduct routine repairs and tasks with tools and equipment.
• Perform associated tasks on 3‑phase electrical systems under 600 volts, critical preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, drive‑unit and component rebuilds.
• Work with PLC/controls (a plus).

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of material handling equipment (MHE) and automation in a distribution environment.
• Ability to work, plan, and prioritize independently and in a cross‑functional team.
• Strong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive skills, inclusive of exercising good judgment.
• Capable of multitasking, highly organized, with excellent time management.
• Learn and apply working knowledge of related work‑area processes and procedures.
• Availability to work weekends.

• Expected hourly rate: $31.53–$34.00.
