As a Registered Nurse at our Raritan Bay site, you will deliver evidence‑based care, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and support patient and family education.

- Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation: collect comprehensive data, perform age and disease‑specific assessments, recognize clinical changes, identify educational needs, and develop individualized care plans.
- Coordinate patient care across nursing peers, physicians and support services, ensuring continuity and safety.
- Communicate and document: provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and the health‑care team; maintain electronic documentation of assessments, plans, interventions and evaluations.
- Medication administration using bar‑scanning technology and ensure safe delivery.
- Participate in multidisciplinary discharge planning and care transitions.
- Apply critical thinking and evidence‑based practice to achieve patient outcomes and respond to changes in condition.
- Identify and report ethical issues, enhance patient satisfaction, and maintain professional competencies and certifications.
- Meet physical requirements: lift a minimum of 35 lbs., push/pull a minimum of 10 lbs., stand a minimum of 6 hours a day.
- Adhere to the American Nurses Association Code for Nurses and HMH's organizational standards.
- Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
- Current and valid New Jersey nursing license required.
- BLS/CPR certification by the American Heart Association required.
- BSN in progress and/or willingness to obtain within three years of hire.
- Minimum six months nursing experience or active participation in the HMH Nurse Residency Program.
- National certification preferred.
- Strong learning adaptability, accountability, teamwork, commitment to ongoing education, and patient‑focused care commitment.
Minimum rate: $45.73 per hour.
Job DutiesBase compensation is determined by market data, experience, education, skills, geographic location, internal equity and budget. Final offer may adjust these factors and include shift differentials for night or weekend work. Performance‑based incentives, bonuses and commissions may also apply.
