Registered Nurse - PA-IV THRPY - Per Diem Days

About This Role

The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population to achieve desired outcomes. This role is ideal for individuals focused on expanding their knowledge and skills while providing effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team.

• Location: Perth Amboy, NJ
• Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Perform age and disease specific assessment/data collection independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Identify variables in patient/family education needs based on age and disease.
• Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions.
• Formulate age and disease specific patient/family centered goals/outcomes.
• Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.
• Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team.
• Implement age and disease specific care in an organized manner.
• Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation.

• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.

• Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position.
