Registered Nurse- Maternal Child Health​/ Del Room- F​/T Nights

The Registered Nurse in Maternal Child Health/Del Room provides direct patient care for a specific population, focusing on achieving desired outcomes through effective collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. • Location: Perth Amboy, NJ
• Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease.
• Develop and coordinate a patient/family-focused plan of care.
• Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively.
• Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning technologies.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes.
• Adhere to established protocols and document events accurately.

Education:

• Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required
• BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three years of hire

Experience:

• Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire
