Overview
Englert has been the gold standard and a leading manufacturer of metal roofing and gutter systems. We are actively seeking a QC Technician to serve operations day to day in a safe and timely manner.
Essential Functions- Ensure coated coil production meets established quality standards by inspecting, testing, and documenting findings.
- Collect relevant data to maintain optimal quality of coated coil, including paint temperature, titrations, film thickness, inter‑coat adhesion, paint hardness, and color inspection.
- Conduct inspections using measurement tools and testing equipment.
- Identify defects and document findings in detailed reports or digital quality management systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards to meet customer expectations.
- Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, military, or post‑high‑school education environment.
- Ability to use hand‑measuring tools, wrenches, files, and various small tools associated with Englert machines safely.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in navigating and using a computer.
- Basic math skills to input data into Infor system.
- Following instructions and adhering to required reporting of relevant laboratory data.
- Attention to detail and precision.
- Proficiency in and maintenance of inspection tools and laboratory equipment.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- One (1) year or more experience working in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment.
- Experience using machinery.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.
- Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing or pulling.
- Work in a loud/noisy, industrial, high‑volume environment for 6‑8 hour shifts.
- Walk and stand on concrete throughout the shift.
Quality Control Technicians typically work on the manufacturing floor and in the laboratory. The role involves hands‑on testing and monitoring the production line. Technicians prioritize all quality control tests, record necessary data, and assist the line as a secondary function once all relevant QC work is completed. Work may require standing for long periods and handling equipment safely.

Pay Rate: $19 per hour. Shift: 2nd shift (2:00 PM‑10:30 PM).
