As a Security Officer Full Time Overnight in Perth Amboy, NJ
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with personnel and visitors, and support site operations with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

A TSA-issued TWIC is required.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of operational areas, buildings, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor records, and directing authorized personnel in accordance with site policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
