Family Intervention Specialist

Salary: $55,000 – $60,000 per year

• The Family Intervention Specialist will work closely with youth and families referred by DCP & P and provide evidence-based interventions within the home and/or community based on the Youth Villages Intercept model. Responsibilities include conducting assessments to determine needs and strengths of the family and youth; safety evaluation; service planning; service coordination; and on‑going sessions.
• Provide transportation for clients when necessary using the company's vehicle.
• Participate in required trainings, team meetings, and one‑on‑one supervision.

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
• OR Bachelor’s degree in social services with at least one year of experience in counseling or case management required.
• Personal vehicle may be needed for some community work.
• Must be willing to work evenings, as needed.
