Family Intervention Specialist 135 – East Brunswick, NJ

Salary: $55,000 – $60,000 per year

• The Family Intervention Specialist will work closely with youth and families referred by DCP&P and provide evidence‑based interventions within the home and/or community based on the Youth Villages Intercept model. This includes conducting assessments to determine needs and strengths of the family and youth; safety evaluation; service planning; service coordination; and ongoing sessions.
• Some client transportation is needed with a company car.
• The Specialist will participate in required trainings, team meetings, and one‑on‑one supervision.

• Master’s degree in the field of Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in social services with at least one year of experience in counseling or case management required.
• Personal vehicle use may be needed for some community work.
• Must be willing to work evenings, as needed.
