The Raritan Bay Area YMCA is seeking a responsible and safety-focused bus driver to transport program participants to and from designated program sites. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and a positive, supportive attitude aligned with the YMCA’s mission.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing YMCA located just five miles west of New York City in the waterfront city of Perth Amboy. Since 1912, the Raritan Bay Area YMCA has proudly served the evolving needs of our community. Today, we support more than 6,000 members in the Raritan Bay area through programs and initiatives focused on Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.

• Safely operate a YMCA School Bus
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and maintaining accurate transportation logs
• Ensure the safe boarding and disembarking of passengers
• Follow all traffic laws, YMCA policies, and child safety protocols at all times

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• CDL with passenger endorsement
• Previous driving experience with children or group transportation
• Must be available to work Monday-Friday 6:45AM-8:45AM and 2:15PM-4:00PM during the School Year;
  Monday-Friday from: 8:30AM-4:00PM during the Summer
• Consistent and reliable attendance
