Warehouse Slotting Coodinator

Using independent judgement, the sr coordinator, slotting will provide the best selection sequence to enable the most productive selection process.

** essential duties and responsibilities
*** utilize manhattan software to slot products in all warehouse areas (dry, cooler, freezer, pir) to optimally provide a safe working environment, maximize warehouse efficiency, and minimize errors.
* perform accurate slotting of new items as well as daily slotting moves to increase productivity and cases per pallet.
* monitor, research, and respond to slot check inquiries to answer internal questions about item placement. Communicate with internal stakeholders to promote efficiency in slotting as necessary.
* partner with inventory control to research and reconcile damaged product.
* manage daily replenishment priorities to promote warehouse efficiency and reduce spoilage.
* perform regularly scheduled audits (aisle audits, rack labels, ti/hi, and pallet put-aways).
* communicate daily with warehouse leadership about work status, receiving errors or safety concerns.
* support in training and developing junior clerical teammates.

** minimum qualifications
** related experience/requirements:
* minimum three years of experience in warehouse administrative or clerical position. Prior slotting experience required.knowledge/skills/abilities:
* excellent communication both verbally and in writing.
* excellent telephone and customer service ability.
* strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
* intermediate computer skills with proficiency in programs such as microsoft word, excel, access, and outlook.
* problem solving and critical thinking abilities to independently solve problems of intermediate scope.
* strong teamwork skills with the ability to support others in the department and division.education
* high school diploma or ged/equivalent required.

The expected base rate for this role is between $19 - $36
