£31,759 - £34,011 (Whole Year working - 45 Week model)
Goodlyburn Primary School Nursery, Perth

Our aim is to provide child-centred Early Learning and Childcare (aged 2-5 years) which reflects and responds to individual needs and identity, helping every child to thrive in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.

Do you like working with children and want to make a difference? If so, we are looking for an enthusiastic, nurturing and innovative Early Childhood Practitioner to join our team at Goodlyburn ELC Nursery.

This post is fixed term for one-year, whole year working, on a 45-week model. 45-week contracts will be required to work 45 weeks of the year. 45-week settings are closed 2 weeks at Christmas and remain open the 1st week of October, 1st week of Easter, the first 3 weeks of the summer and for some public and occasional holidays.

Skills & Experience Required

Do you pride yourself on delivering high-quality learning experiences for the children in your care and building strong relationships with children, their families and partner agencies? If so, we would love to hear from you.

You will have a flexible and creative approach to working with young children and parents, together with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

For the role of Early Childhood Practitioner, you should hold an appropriate qualification e.g. SNNEB, NNEB, HNC, SCQF level 7 equivalent or SVQ 3 in Childcare and Education or SVQ 3 Social Services (Children and Young People), as well as have the eligibility to register with SSSC.

This role requires you to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC), if you are not yet registered, you can still apply, as long as you are willing to apply for registration within 3 months of starting with us and be registered within 6 months.
