We are currently seeking a highly experienced, confident, and ambitious Supervisor, Century Bar,to join our Bars team.

The on target earning potential for this role is £39,024 / per annum - comprising a base salary of £30,724, plus a qualified estimate of £8,300 in gratuities and service charge.

  • Consistently delivering exceptional service standards, ensuring drinks are prepared flawlessly and the bar is impeccably organised, always exceeding our guest expectations
  • Equipping your team to provide warm, dynamic, and memorable service whether serving wines and cocktails or preparing teas and coffees
  • Ensuring the bar is fully stocked, organised, and operationally ready at all times, enabling a seamless and efficient guest experience
  • Engaging and inspiring guests by sharing your expert knowledge of classic cocktails, wines, and spirits
  • You’ll bring your fabulous creativity and contribute to the development of new drinks and offerings, actively shaping the training and development plan for your team
  • Encouraging team members to deliver the most knowledgeable and approachable product descriptions with the aim of delighting our guests and increasing sales
  • Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay luxurious in every way
The kind of person we’re looking for:
  • Ideally, you’re currently established in a similar role, with fantastic experience within a luxury hospitality environment, however having a great attitude is essential
  • You have outstanding bartending and service knowledge and experience; your perspective and approach are always fresh; no matter how many times an issue has been presented to you, to your guest it’s the first time
  • An early bird some days and a night owl other, working flexibly during the week and weekends
  • You have a keen eye for detail, an organised approach and willingness to exceed guest expectation; you want to be the best and work with the best, learning from the experts in our team and sharing your knowledge with us
  • Resilient, you have the ability to deal with fast-paced environments and juggling often conflicting priorities
  • You’re a sociable person, both towards the guests you’re looking after and your fellow colleagues
  • Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
  • You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
  • A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
