** The Role
** As House Manager, you will be the heart of East Haugh House and the face of the guest experience. You will lead by example, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes every guest feel immediately s is not a traditional hotel management role. You'll work closely alongside the Head Chef as part of a small, close-knit team, delivering a hospitality experience that feels more like staying in a beautiful country home than a hotel..

From personally welcoming arrivals and sharing local recommendations, to serving breakfast and dinner, maintaining exceptional housekeeping standards, and ensuring the house is always beautifully presented, you'll play a hands-on role in every part of the business.

This is not a role where you manage from behind a desk. You'll be actively involved in hosting, service, housekeeping, guest engagement, and operational organisation, ensuring that East Haugh House consistently delivers an unforgettable experience.
** You will:
** Deliver exceptional, personalised guest experiences from arrival to departure.

Act as host, concierge, housekeeper, organiser and food & beverage professional.

Oversee the presentation and cleanliness of guest bedrooms and public areas.

Lead breakfast and evening dining service in a relaxed, informal setting.

Build strong relationships with guests and anticipate their needs.

Curate memorable local experiences and recommendations.

Maintain the pantry, drinks offering and  help yourself  philosophy.

Support stock control, organisation and smooth day-to-day operations.
