Journeyman ( Union

As a Journeyman, you will repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or Mopar standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or Mopar standards.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast of rapidly changing technology.
• Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings to ensure necessary repairs are made.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Be team-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Have a working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
• This position is within the Local 701 union shop, in a fast-paced environment with good traffic flow.
