As a Field Specialist you will be responsible for technical direction and safe site leadership of onsite installation, operational maintenance, testing and startup activities on Centrifugal Compressors and Steam Turbines in accordance with engineering best practice and contractual work scope requirements primarily within Mexico and Latin America

• Have Functional / Technical, Customer Focus, Communication, Interpersonal, and Team working Skills. He/She's mainly specialized on Steam Turbine and Centrifugal Compressors Products.
• Under minimal supervision receive and follow established tasks according to the Maintenance or Installation activities schedule on Customer equipment’s in the Field.
• Actively collaborate with others crew members to the Installation and/or Maintenance activities of Customer Equipment in the Field at Customer Sites.
• Be responsible for the execution of specific tasks following the Site Quality Check Lists provided for the agreed scope of work. May interact with Customer Representative and Site Team on routine matters at the Field Job Site such as coordination meetings.
• Provide all required records of all activities accomplished at Customer Site to the Baker Hughes IET Supervisor and promotes and maintains good team relations.
• Execute all required responsibilities safely and as instructed by direct supervisors and following all Service applicable processes and procedures. Performs other related duties as required. Conducts all business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes Core Values (HSE, Quality, and Compliance).

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor Degree is preferred. Industry experience and turbines product line training required.
• Have at least 5 years'+ of experience in field service or maintenance position.
• Know maintenance procedures for Steam Turbines and Compressors
• Have participated in Minor/Major outages, commissioning, and installation.
• Know about L1 service - Boroscopies.
• Have the ability to understand and implement technical drawings.
• Have troubleshooting experience.
• Have availability to travel 80% of time.
• Be fluent in English and Spanish.
• Be able to work offshore and overseas
• Have T BOSIET/THUET certificates are a plus.
