About the RoleRisk at Revolut operates across all functions, products, and regions to monitor front‑line performance and ensure the business operates safely. They’re among the first to be involved in new initiatives, from tech to customer support.
We’re looking for an Operational Risk Manager to improve our local risk management framework and governance structure. You’ll use data to track daily risk exposures and support reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing- Working with the first line of defence to identify, assess, document, and regularly review risks
- Coaching the business to design and implement controls
- Supporting the development and implementation of operational risk policies, procedures, key indicators, and appetite statement
- Developing techniques to quantify operational risk and resilience, including stress testing and impact tolerances
- Taking ownership of the risk incident management process, recording risk events, and managing incident reports
- Monitoring operational risk against limits and thresholds, producing respective reports to management and other relevant stakeholders
- Developing and maintaining risk tools and systems
- Monitoring KRI breaches and working with risk owners/group risk team to resolve them within a set timeline
- Conducting presentations and workshops on risk identification and mitigation
- 5+ years of senior experience in operational risk management within a banking or financial services setting
- An understanding of core operational risk concepts
- Previous examples of practically interpreting and organising complex matters
- To be curious and never accept assumptions, with a desire to fully understand how things work
- To be organised and have a methodological approach
- Experience with operational risk stress testing and quantification
- Experience building and maintaining risk registers
- Fluency in English with excellent communication skills
- A degree or certification in risk management
- Experience implementing third‑party/vendor and model risk programs
- Familiarity with data or MI tools (e.g., SQL or BI tools) for analysis and review purposes
- Experience supporting regulatory interactions, inspections, or audits related to operational risk
