Whatis the role about?
Ensure Financial Accounting and Cost Accounting in a complaint way and in-line with local and Corporate requirements.
Which tasks will you perform?- Ensure local policies are met (e.g., signature regulation, travel policy, expenses policy)
- Met reporting deadlines for Month End, Half Year End and Full Year End closing in-line with local and IFRS Accounting standards.
- Maintain C master data management of Peru
- Provide financial liquidity planning for local legal entity and highlight opportunities and risks.
- Highlights area for development and improvement of accounting processes for local legal entity in cooperation with head office
- Part of local management team
- Leading and develop local controlling team including admins and interns.
- Creation of financial planning for liquidity planning for local legal entity
- Responsible for any tax (direct and indirect) questions/clarifications and general compliance with tax, as well as liaison with external financial authorities, financial auditors, and bank
- Manage expenses of local legal entity (credit card, cash)
- Responsible general accounting tasks during monthly, quarterly and yearly closing supported by a local accouting firm and overviewed by a Regional Controller located in Panama
- Ensure direct and indirect taxes are submitted in a complaint and complete way
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or higher, with an additional finance certification considered a plus.
- Has at least 5 years of experience in a finance department, preferably within an international environment.
- Professional proffiency in English
- Demonstrates strong teamwork skills and a high level of self-management.
