Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity. This is an hourly position.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT/CNA) provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed.

Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs.

Required Qualifications:

• License/Certification: CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant
• License/Certification: CPR American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED
• Experience:
  
  Six months in a clinical healthcare environment
• Experience:
  
  Six months supporting physical, emotional, and psycho-social needs of patients
