Cardiac Sonographer I
The Cardiac Sonographer I follows established policies, procedures, and performs and records Echocardiology diagnostic tests under proctoring/supervision. In doing so, obtains information about normal and abnormal anatomy used to diagnosis disease. Ensures echocardiogram exams are of acceptable quality and records results. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
Expected pay for this position is $39.13 - $51.21/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an hourly position.

Required Qualifications:
- Education:
Associate in allied health that is patient care related or bachelor's degree (any major) OR Completion of an Accredited Sonographer Program OR Approved by the ARDMS or CCI governing body to sit for the certification. - Licensure/ Certification:
American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) required before providing patient care. Must obtain Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within two (2) years of hire OR credentialed within 2 years if within an accredited lab, if applicable. - Other Skills/ Knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
