LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a motivated Human Resources Generalist – Manufacturing Industry to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys a broad role encompassing employee relations, talent acquisition, payroll administration, compliance, and HR operations. The Human Resources Generalist will support the day-to-day execution of human resources initiatives while partnering with leadership and employees across the organization. This individual will play a key role in talent acquisition, employee engagement, payroll administration, compliance, onboarding, benefits coordination, and HR program execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily HR operations and employee relations activities across the organization.
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, candidate evaluation, and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Administer payroll processes and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Support benefits administration, leave management, and employee lifecycle activities.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation programs and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with performance management, employee development, and retention efforts.
  • Conduct employment verifications, background screenings, and onboarding compliance processes.
  • Guide managers and employees regarding company policies, procedures, and workplace best practices.
  • Support investigations, corrective action processes, and employee relations matters while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Coordinate training programs and maintain records related to certifications, compliance training, and workforce development initiatives.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide recommendations that support organizational goals.
  • Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
  • Strong understanding of employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and HR administration.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Payroll processing experience.
  • Experience utilizing Paylocity or a comparable HRIS/payroll platform.
  • Manufacturing industry experience.
  • SHRM-CP certification or similar HR certification.
Compensation Range

$75,000 - $85,000

Benefits Offered

2 weeks of vacation, paid sick leave where applicable by state law, Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance Vision Insurance, 401K, and Life Insurance.
