Overview

Machine Operator, 2nd Shift — Peru, Illinois. We are looking for self-motivated and safety-conscious candidates to join our production team in Peru.

Location:

9 Unytite Drive, Peru, Illinois 61354, United States. Anticipated Pay Range: $19.00 / hour + $2.00 shift differential. Shift: 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m. Monday–Friday with overtime.

• Operate machinery according to standard operating procedures.
• Monitor production output and quality to meet specifications.
• Assist with finished products by using banders to bundle finished products.
• Assist with break press operations.
• Operate overhead cranes and/or forklifts for material handling.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain regular, reliable, punctual, and consistent attendance; be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required.

• Experience in a manufacturing setting (preferred).
• Ability to obtain valid crane and forklift certifications.

• Frequent communication with others to exchange information.
• Frequent repetition of motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.
• Frequent movement about the worksite to accomplish tasks or move between locations.
• Frequent lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.
• Standing or sitting for prolonged periods with continuous concentration on tasks.

• Manufacturing floor with machinery; exposure to airborne particles and loud noises; extreme temperatures.
• Use of personal protective equipment is required.
