The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential care and support to residents, assisting with daily living activities such as hygiene, meals, mobility, and comfort. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, documenting care activities, and reporting observations to nursing supervisors. CNAs ensure residents' privacy and dignity while adhering to HIPAA guidelines, professional standards, and regulatory requirements. They contribute to a safe and supportive environment, participate in educational opportunities to maintain certification, and perform other duties as assigned to ensure the health, welfare, and safety of residents.
Responsibilities- Perform all functions under an active license or certification within assigned duties.
- Provide care based on each resident’s care plan.
- Assist in activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement.
- Communicate with clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
- Provide care for residents with dementia.
- Take on additional duties within the scope of knowledge and experience.
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) License or Certification in good standing.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Willingness to pursue additional training or education required by state.
- CPR and First Aid certifications required.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt while handling multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Competent in organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Requires sitting, standing, bending and walking regularly; lifting or moving up to 100 pounds.
- Visual and auditory ability sufficient for written and verbal communication.
- Must be able to perform duties throughout the scheduled shift.
Full‑time (with benefits). Part‑time positions available without benefits.
