V is seeking a Laboratory Testing Analyst to support mineral analysis, quality verification, and compliance testing within a Mining & Mineral Loss Control Project in Peru. The role ensures accurate laboratory results that support operational decision‑making and quality control standards.

Laboratory Manager / Quality Control Lead

• Conduct chemical and physical testing of mineral samples
• Prepare, process, and analyze ore samples in laboratory conditions
• Ensure compliance with internal QA/QC and industry standards (ISO/ASTM where applicable)
• Record, validate, and report analytical results accurately
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration standards are met
• Support investigation of sample discrepancies and quality deviations

• Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Mining, Metallurgy, or related technical field

• 5–10 years experience in mining laboratory testing or mineral analysis
• Prior exposure to Africa or South America mining environments is an advantage

• Mineral and ore sample analysis
• Laboratory QA/QC procedures
• Data recording and reporting systems
• Equipment handling (spectrometry / assay tools preferred)
• Strong attention to accuracy and compliance

• English (mandatory)
• Spanish (advantage for Peru‑based operations)
