V is seeking an experienced Minerals Inspector to support inspection, verification, and quality control activities across mining operations. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with industry standards, accurate mineral assessment, and minimizing material loss across the supply chain.
- Conduct on-site inspection of minerals during extraction, handling, and export stages
- Verify material quality, grade, and quantity against project specifications
- Supervise sampling processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Prepare detailed inspection and compliance reports
- Coordinate with laboratory teams for testing and validation
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Diploma or Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related technical field
- 5–10 years of experience in mining, mineral inspection, or quality control
- Experience in international mining environments preferred (Africa or South America)
- Knowledge of mineral inspection, sampling, and testing procedures
- Familiarity with industry standards (ISO, ASTM, or equivalent)
- Strong reporting and documentation skills
- Basic proficiency in inspection tools and data recording systems
- English required
- Spanish is a strong advantage
