C++ Developer

We are hiring an experienced C/C++ Software Developer to join our team in Lima, Peru. This is a strong opportunity for a backend developer who enjoys working on high-performance batch systems in a card and payments environment. The role is centered on C/C++ development for CCS back-end programs, with exposure to critical card-processing flows and high-volume transaction operations.

• Work on business-critical backend systems that support card operations and transaction processing.
• Contribute to batch programs tied to cycle cutovers, clearing, hold release, and posting.
• Join a collaborative team environment with exposure to financial software and payments workflows.
• Build on existing C/C++ expertise while gaining deeper domain knowledge in card processing.

• Design, develop, test, enhance, and maintain backend software with a strong focus on C/C++.
• Support and enhance CCS batch programs used in card processing operations.
• Develop and maintain functionality related to credit card cycle cutover processing, incoming clearing file loading from card brands such as Visa and Mastercard, matching clearing records with pending transactions, releasing transaction holds, and posting financial transactions.
• Use SVN for source code version control and software change management.
• Collaborate with management, development team members, and QA to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Maintain a high level of functional and technical product knowledge.
• Troubleshoot production and non-production issues as required.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across processes and systems.

• Strong C/C++ software development experience.
• Hands‑on experience with backend and batch processing applications.
• Strong SQL and RDBMS knowledge.
• Experience working in Linux environments and with SVN source control.
• Solid understanding of software design principles and design patterns.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.

• Payments, card processing, or financial services experience.
• Knowledge of clearing, posting, and cycle cutover processes.
• Exposure to Java/JEE, REST APIs, or Java enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with CCS or similar card management platforms.

• We are primarily looking for a strong C/C++ backend developer. Experience with Java-based enterprise environments and payment systems is a plus, but it is not required.
