Job Overview
System Transport is hiring experienced CDL‑A flatbed truck drivers for regional routes in the western United States. Drivers will transport goods such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals.
Compensation & BenefitsFull‑time drivers earn a weekly rate ranging from $1,095.18 to $1,980.65, which translates to an annual salary of $56,949.36 to $ depending on experience, routes, attendance, and length of service. This figure includes mileage pay and all accessorial compensation such as tarp pay, detainment pay, border‑crossing pay, safety bonuses, and over‑dimension pay.
Additionally, drivers receive a $1,800 transition package, of which $1,000 is allocated for orientation during the first two weeks.
Bonus & Hiring Incentives- Earn a $5,000 Hiring Bonus, paid in equal installments of $1,250 every 90 days over a 12‑month active employment period.
- Eligibility: drivers must be currently employed and actively driving; the bonus is disbursed only to those in good standing.
- Owner/operators and trainees with less than four months CDL‑A experience are not eligible.
Division 290, Terminal:
Kansas City, MO. Home time includes most weekends for a 34‑hour reset, with additional variations by division.
- Valid Class A CDL.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Safe driving record required.
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years.
- 4 or more months of driving experience.
- Background check, clean drug test, and clean clearinghouse results required.
- Physically able to lift a 90‑pound tarp onto a 5‑foot platform twice during orientation.
- Preferred: 1 year of truck driving experience (not required).
