Project Engineering Manager

Role & Responsibilities: Lead and execute large-scale technical projects in the food industry, overseeing design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions. Manage a team of engineers, coordinate project schedules, and collaborate with vendors and contractors. Develop engineering designs, material specifications, and cost estimates, ensuring compliance with standards and codes. Review submissions, manage project execution, and oversee documentation, budgets, and vendor contacts.

Conduct planning, evaluate proposals, and prepare progress reports. Handle contract administration and monitor installations to meet specifications and budgets.

Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in leadership roles. Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and engineering economics. Strong project management, contract administration, and communication skills. Ability to interpret codes, manage multi-million-dollar projects, and work independently with minimal guidance. Must be able to travel up to 50% and thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.

Knowledge of food processing and meat industry engineering is preferred.
