Job Title: Therapist – Behavioral Health Office
Location: Peru, Indiana
About the RoleAs a Therapist, you’ll play a vital role in providing clinical services to individuals (children, adults, families) with mental health issues and/or dual diagnosis or substance use/dependence issues in outpatient and residential settings.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, mental status exams, and diagnoses
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients
- Provide individual, family, couples, and group counseling services
- Deliver therapeutic services aligned with treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, courts, schools, and community agencies to coordinate care
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and external partners both verbally and in writing
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical and administrative documentation
- Adhere to organizational policies, ethical standards, and state and federal regulations
We’re seeking compassionate, motivated individuals who are passionate about whole-person care and thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment. Experience in behavioral health or social services is a plus.
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marital & Family Therapy, or related Behavioral Science field of study required
- Current non-probationary temporary license from the state of Indiana in one of the following: LSW, LMHC-A, LMFT-A, LCAC-A required at minimum
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance required
