Minimum of forty-eight hours college or two years of college with an associate's degree, EIPA 3.0, BEI and/or Hold a Quality Assurance Card
Must be fluent and have training in American Sign Language
Job SummaryThe Educational Interpreter provides interpreting and other support services for students who are deaf of hard of hearing in all areas of the educational environment. This person will also provide voice interpreting as needed, academic support for the deaf students as outlined in the IEP and under the guidance of a certified teacher and will attend IEP meetings as a team member.
