We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join a growing team in California. The position will contribute to reporting, reconciliations, and daily accounting support while partnering with colleagues to strengthen processes and maintain reliable financial data.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and research variances to resolve outstanding issues accurately and promptly.
• Prepare and share recurring financial reports that help management monitor performance and make informed decisions.
• Support day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including billing-related tasks, within a technology-driven accounting environment.
• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records by reviewing entries and safeguarding data consistency across financial systems.
• Assist the team with process improvement efforts and provide accounting support during software updates or conversion-related activities.
• Work closely with accounting staff to meet deadlines and ensure core departmental deliverables are completed with precision.
• Help monitor routine accounting functions to promote compliance, accuracy, and efficient month-to-month operations.
