Solar Project Coordinator

Simply Solar, a California-based leader in residential and commercial solar solutions, is seeking a Solar Project Coordinator to guide projects from contract through installation. In this role, you'll manage schedules, coordinate with design, permitting, installation, and inspection teams, and serve as a primary point of contact for customers. You'll track milestones, prepare documentation, and help resolve field issues to keep projects on time and within scope.

Working in a collaborative, mission-driven environment, you'll support high-quality craftsmanship, customer education, and the transition to clean, affordable energy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate residential and commercial solar project schedules from contract to installation
• Serve as primary point of contact for customers, updating them on project status
• Liaise with design, permitting, installation, and inspection teams to keep projects on track
• Prepare and submit documentation for permits, interconnection, and inspections
• Track project milestones, timelines, and deliverables in project management systems
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and field issues by coordinating with internal teams and vendors
• Review project details for accuracy and completeness before handoff to installation teams
• Support forecasting and reporting on project pipeline and workload
• Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and compliance standards
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and customer experience
