About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is well suited for early-career engineers who are excited to contribute to product development efforts while building hands-on experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies with a focus on injection molded plastics, die castings, labels, and sheet metal parts.
- Create and revise 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation using
Solid Works
. - Design and edit product labels in Adobe Illustrator
. - Utilize Windchill PDM to manage design information
- Support prototype, testing, verification, and documentation of designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, supply chain, quality, etc.) to ensure designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturability requirements.
- Participate in project management tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and milestone tracking.
- Support supplier communication, reviews, and coordination as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency inSolid
Works(including 3D modeling and 2D drawings), Windchill, and Adobe Illustrator. - Project and/or professional experience with design for injection molding, die casting, and sheet metal fabrication required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn in a hands-on engineering environment.
- Internship or professional experience involving supplier management/coordination.
- Familiarity with project management toolsand processes.
- Hands-on experience with real-world product development
- Collaboration with experienced engineers and mentors
