Who You Are- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering—or a closely related field—and have 0–3 years of relevant experience. You are an EIT or will obtain certification within one year.
- You have education, training, or experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and are familiar with surfaces, alignments, profiles, sections, and annotations.
- Experience or training in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, geographic information systems (e.g., ArcGIS), preparation of engineering plans and cost estimates, and river and wetland sciences is desirable.
- You solve problems independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- You communicate clearly in oral and written form and can convey technical information to small groups.
- You work well with remote and in‑person teams using available communication tools.
Support design, analysis, engineering, and drafting for creek, river, floodplain, and wetland restoration, nature‑based engineering, climate‑resilience projects, and flood risk management under the supervision of a senior engineer or hydrologist. Balance multiple responsibilities and deadlines, working both independently and as part of a team.
Salary Range$84,000 — $102,000 USD (California pay transparency disclosure)
