Summary
:
Provide field support to Project Manager and Engineer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Track and report daily quantities for labor and materials.
• Provide technical engineering information and interpretation of plans, detail sheets and specifications for contractors.
• Enforce quality control and expediting subcontractors.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with contract.
• Ensure construction work complies with plans and specifications.
• Update submittal and RFI logs.
• Track vendor and subcontractor progress.
• Schedule updates.
• Prepare daily reports.
• Support project cost tracking.

Qualifications

• Education/
  
  Experience:
  
  Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Ecological Restoration, Hydrology, Geology, or equivalent.
• Language Ability: strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients and customers.
• Reasoning Ability: ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions.
• Computer
  
  Skills:
  
  knowledge of Excel, Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, or AutoCAD.
• Physical Presence: regular and predictable presence at the assigned work location is essential due to team needs and project timelines.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel, as needed, for projects.

Work Environment

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to construction activity and varying weather conditions. The noise level may range from moderate to loud.

Physical Demands

• Lift and/or move 25-50 pounds occasionally.
• Close vision and color vision required.
• Regularly sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and communicate verbally.
• Occasionally reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Pay Range
: $36.00 - $41.00 per hour
