Position Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments and on‑time delivery to customers, prioritizing requests to meet critical deadlines and program timelines.
- Ensure that all hazmat shipments are properly identified, packaged and documented.
- Process shipments in MRP and identify any clear issues that may impact shipment confirmation.
- Effectively manage and prioritize logistics tasks per customer needs in a complex and dynamic environment, supporting the needs of multiple programs.
- Process incoming RMAs in MRP system and see the process through completion.
- Responsible for AES filing and export documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management within a regulated environment (aerospace, defense).
- Knowledge of relevant compliance requirements.
- Experience working with government contracts or defense‑related programs preferred.
- Proven experience prioritizing and managing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in logistics and supply chain software systems (Oracle).
- Familiarity with export compliance and international shipping regulations.
- Ability to excel in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Displays strong initiative and drive to accomplish goals and meet company objectives.
- Takes ownership and responsibility for current and past work products.
- Committed to learning from mistakes and driven to improve performance for self, others and the company.
- Has effective problem‑solving, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Focuses on teamwork, collaboration and puts the success of the team above one’s own interests.
Ability to work in a manufacturing and office environment (constant). Required to sit and stand for long periods (frequent); talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (frequent).
Special RequirementsU.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required. Occasionally may be required to travel within the Continental U.S. Clearance level:
No clearance.
$22 – $31 per hour.
ITAR RequirementThis position requires access to information subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must qualify as a U.S. person under the ITAR and the EAR, or be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology falls under its jurisdiction.
