Job Description

Chiller/Filter Cellar Operator

Day 6am-2:30pm

$22.00-$24.50hr

We are seeking an experienced Winery Cellar Operator with hands-on experience operating wine chilling and filtration equipment
. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cellar operations, be safety-conscious, and take pride in producing high-quality wine.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor wine chiller and filtration systems according to production schedules.
• Prepare, sanitize, and maintain filtration and cellar equipment.
• Perform wine transfers, tank setups, and related cellar duties as needed.
• Monitor temperatures, flow rates, and filtration performance to ensure product quality.
• Follow all winery sanitation, safety, and quality control procedures.
• Maintain accurate production records and communicate effectively with the cellar team.
• Assist with harvest and other general cellar operations as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous winery cellar experience required.
• Hands-on experience operating wine chiller and filtration equipment required.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and work in wet, cold, and fast-paced production environments.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and flexible hours during harvest and peak production periods.
