Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-anesthesia care in Phase I and Phase II recovery settings. The RN will monitor patients recovering from various surgical procedures and anesthesia types while ensuring safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care in Pre-Op, Phase I & Phase II PACU (inpatient and ambulatory settings)
• Perform cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia recognition, and arterial line management
• Manage ventilated patients, airway support, chest tubes, ABGs, and ETCO2 monitoring
• Administer IV therapy, blood products, vasopressors, antiarrhythmics, sedation, and reversal agents
• Monitor and manage pain, PCA pumps, RASS scoring, and malignant hyperthermia protocol
• Support a wide range of surgical cases including vascular, neuro/spine, ortho, general, GI, GU, plastics, ophthalmology, pediatrics, and endocrine
• Conduct pre-op assessments, patient education, consent verification, medication reconciliation, and discharge instructions
• Maintain strict infection control and isolation precautions

Additional Requirements:

• Float to Pre-Op and Phase I/II as needed
• On-call required (1–2 nights 8pm–6am; weekend call 7am–7pm)
• Weekend coverage:
  Every other weekend

Strong clinical judgment, critical care skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced surgical recovery environment are essential.
