Member Experience Associate - $24.60​/hr + Commissions

Overview

The Member Experience Associate at AAA Mountain West Group delivers outstanding service and value to Members across multiple branch locations. The role blends customer service, sales, and operational excellence, and is fully onsite in the Petaluma facility.

• Perform fundamental customer interactions, including Member Services and product sales.
• Follow standard operating procedures and compliance requirements for branch operations.
• Apply consultative sales techniques to uncover needs, present solutions, and close opportunities.
• Promote AAA products and services to achieve both individual and branch goals.
• Adapt communication style to effectively serve diverse Member bases.
• Use strong product knowledge to identify customer‑specific needs and generate new sales.
• Meet or exceed individual sales targets while supporting overall branch success.
• Maintain operational excellence by implementing process improvements and ensuring compliance across assigned branches.
• Flexibly cover shifts at multiple locations, including Saturdays, and travel between branches as needed.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2‑4 years of work experience, with at least 1 year in a sales role.
• Proven sales experience in insurance, retail, hospitality, or call center environments.
• Strong customer‑service orientation, active listening, and adaptability.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to uncover needs and close sales.
• Proficiency with multiple computer systems and applications.
• Valid driver’s license; bonding/fingerprinting and P&C licensing may be required.
• Preferred:
  Experience meeting defined sales standards and goals, bilingual Spanish skills, and a track record of exceeding targets.
