Responsibilitiesyou’ll be responsible for understanding Orkin’s termite protection services and making strategic recommendations to customers. Performing 360 inspections from attics to crawl spaces, you’ll solve problems and build trusted relationships.
- Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
- Act with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
- Serve as an empathetic problem solver, using in‑depth training to recommend the best pest solution.
- Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads—our advertising budget supports you.
- Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes, explaining how Orkin’s products give them peace of mind.
- Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home—training is provided.
- Make recommendations based on inspection findings, addressing questions and setting expectations.
- Use the provided iPad to prepare sales agreements and stay organized.
- Competitive earnings from $60,000 to $100,000 per year plus a company vehicle and gas card upon route assignment.
- Initial 90‑day training period at $28.85 per hour, transitioning to an exempt structure with base salary and commission after licensing.

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- No experience required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to obtain the required pesticide license/certification if needed (company paid).
- Ability to work independently in the field and interact with clients.
Candidates must meet the physical job requirements and safely perform duties with or without accommodations:
- Safely use a ladder within manufacturer’s weight capacity.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Wear PPE, including an OSHA‑compliant respirator when required.
- Willing to work in varying weather conditions.
