Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the healthcare facility, including patient corridors, waiting areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, suspicious activity, and unauthorized access concerns;
Monitor access points and help to deter unwanted activity by observing people and conditions, reporting concerns, and communicating with site leadership and/or emergency services as directed;
Complete reports and logs for patrols, incidents, and daily activities, and assist with securing high-traffic areas during peak visitor hours and/or special events
