JOB SUMMARY
Installation of HVAC, Residential New Construction Projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Incumbent must have the skills, ability, and judgment to perform the following essential job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Installing registers securely, square and level to the wall without scratches.
- Installing return air grills that face the right direction with a filter.
- Installing a thermostat level and wiring it correctly.
- Installing an air conditioner level, secured and with the proper clearances.
- Brazing refrigerant lines safely and without leaks.
- How to pressurize your air conditioner with nitrogen to 100 p.s.i. and label it.
- Installing shop fabricated downspouts on your house.
- OSHA 10 training and certification.
- Skills to acquire HVAC Installer 1 (link for job duties)
KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Read tape measure
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Ability to follow directions
- Basic understanding and ability to use hand tools
- Know how to read/understand blue prints
- Ability to read field drawings.
- Ability to complete all tasks in a timely manner, with minimum supervisor and up to California Code
- High school diploma or GED.
- Punctual and Reliable
- Have your own tools
- Attention to Detail
- Ability to maintain:
1) reliable and safe transportation to other BMCS jobsites
2) valid California driver’s license,
3) proper vehicle registration, and
4) California’s minimum automobile insurance coverage requirement. If not requirement of job, delete
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The requirements listed below are representative of the physical ability required.
- Ability to Lift 70lbs
- Able to tolerate temperatures above 80 + for extended periods of time
- Able to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
- Ability to transport a 6-foot ladder

Pay Transparency:
The base pay range for this position is: $24.82 - $35.33.
In addition to base salary, this job may be eligible to participate in our corporate discretionary bonus program, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission.
