Independent Living – Life Skills Coach

Part‑time Day Shift (9am–6pm), covering Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, and Petaluma areas.

• $22 per hour

• Monday‑to‑Friday schedule (9am–6pm)
• Team support, training, and opportunities for career growth and advancement

• Coach clients on building independent living skills such as cooking, budgeting, and personal hygiene.
• Encourage, motivate, and support clients with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges.
• Help plan, create, and organize weekly goals and schedules that work for clients.
• Maintain consistent documentation of progress through case notes and quarterly reports.
• Spend approximately 90% of time in the field with clients and 10% on administration and documentation.
• Collaborate with program managers, regional center coordinators, and training staff.

• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work and commute in and around Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, and Petaluma areas.
• Ability to pass a background check per state industry standards.
• Computer literacy: MS Word, email, basic data entry.
• Strong communicator, dependable, and creative problem‑solver.
• Flexibility to work to accommodate varying client needs and work independently in one‑on‑one settings.
• Heart for helping others and belief in treating people with dignity and respect.
• Behavioral health experience is preferred, not required.
