Delivery Specialist

Pay Range

$18.31 – $24.85 per hour (actual rate may exceed minimum wage at the job location).

The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers safely and efficiently. Responsibilities also include collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries, picking up customer returns, and providing general vehicle and store support.

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and collected monies secure at all times.
• Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores) and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate any problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at the end of the day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Assist with customer service, sweeping, general stocking and straightening stock, merchandising, running errands, and handling core returns as assigned.
• May occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and/or help with merchandising tasks when business dictates.

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record that meets the company’s 14/18‑point standard.
• Legally required state driver’s license and compliance with company driving eligibility requirements.

• Familiarity with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
