Summary

Drive the flow of materials that keep operations moving as a Receiving Clerk. In this role, you will accurately receive, inspect, and maintain inventory records for incoming materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies while ensuring inventory accuracy and efficient stock management. You will partner with warehouse, operations, and vendor teams to support seamless inventory processes that maximize profitability, enhance customer service, and strengthen the company's competitive position while minimizing expenses.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining accurate records and supporting operational success.

Compensation

This position has a target wage of $20.00 - 30.00 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depend ing on performance). Overtime may be available. In addition to hourly wages, Perdue offers a competitive benefits package, including:

Schedule

1st Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

  • Accurately control and track physical inventory.
  • Maintain the status of orders throughout the entire process.
  • Participate in inventory processes and daily audits.
  • Research and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain and manage accurate records of the quantity, type, and value of materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies stocked.
  • Maintain receiving schedules.
  • Maintain and oversee the inventory database.
  • Perform administrative tasks and prepare required reports and correspondence.
  • Accurately verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Safely operated industrial trucks, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Minimum Education and Experience
  • 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Manage priorities and workflow effectively.
  • Demonstrate versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Demonstrate acute attention to detail.
  • Possess proficiency in SAP, Maximo, and Excel.
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
  • Understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors
  • Utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and use a keyboard.
  • Accurately complete detailed forms and reports.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout a full shift.
  • Work independently while collaborating effectively with warehouse, production, and quality assurance teams.
  • Maintain dependable attendance and flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed.
