Your Opportunity
The BDO office is looking for an Administrative Professional to join the Personal Debt Solutions team in‑office. This is a replacement role, and you will support our Centre of Excellence by assisting clients in fulfilling their obligations under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.
Responsibilities- Assist in preparing, formatting, and proofreading court reports and other legal documents.
- Liaise effectively with internal staff and external parties, including legal professionals and court representatives.
- Manage deadlines and ensure timely submission of reports and documentation.
- Organize and maintain digital files in compliance with confidentiality requirements.
- Coordinate with management to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently.
- Support the preparation of court documents for hearings, meetings, and filings.
- Provide general administrative support, including scheduling, email correspondence, and data entry.

- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Post‑secondary education with a legal background is an asset but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in Insolvency or Personal Debt Solutions, particularly with the Toronto Bankruptcy Court, is an asset but not required.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage a fast‑paced work environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated skills in time management, organization, and prioritization.
- Deadline‑oriented with the ability to work independently.
- Maintains professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
The role offers an annual salary range of $32,000 to $56,000.
